Thursday Thing – March 1

Thursday Thing

One – Yay it’s MARCH!  March is a great month for many reasons! First, it’s birthday month! Second, spring officially happens this month! Not that the temps necessarily start rising enough here in Albuquerque, but the trees will start blooming and life will begin to happen!  Also, this March (well every March I guess) is Spring Training!  It’s sort of become our tradition.  Daniel and I have gone 6 out of the last 7 years I think, and we always have the best time! I don’t really even care about baseball, but I love the sun, the shorts, and the beer!

Two – Momsuits from Target are on sale for buy one get one 50% off and you can mix and match with men’s and kiddos too! I’m a one piece kind of girl now and there are some super cute options! This black and crochet one is really cute, and the ruffles here are so pretty! Perfect for indoor baby swim lessons now or the outdoor pool later on!

Three – This Thai Vegetable Soup. This is something that would not typically be on our weekly menu rotation. We’re just not huge on Asian food so buying red curry paste, bok choy, Siracha, and fish sauce ( I didn’t actually use this though because I forgot to buy it) just isn’t something that feels natural. But I’ve been trying to do no meat Mondays and decided to try this and it’s so good!

Four – Amazon lighting.  I have found so many beautiful light fixtures on Amazon! And cheap! This white farmhouse flush mount I think will look beautiful in our playroom/used to be dining room for $50.  For our guest bathroom mini remodel, I love this one for $69.  It has the perfect touch of farmhouse and simplicity for what will also eventually be Elijah’s bathroom.

Five – Amazon Prime rugs.  Rugs can really ground a space and add so much depth, dimension and texture to a room, but they can be so expensive!  I found this one though Lauren McBride Blog and its only $140 for an 8 x 10 and comes in a bunch of really pretty colors!  And for $130 I think I almost like this one better! And since were working on the bathroom, I’m in love with this adorable bathroom rug!
