One – Elijah is getting those top two molars this week, which basically means his sleeping has gone to crap. Well, to be fair he has had two day this past week where he slept all night. He also had one day he was up at 2:30 AM, back down at 4, and then up at 5:30, only to sleep on mom for 2 more hours on the couch taking up way more room than a tiny little baby should. He also had a night of being up at 10 and not getting back down until 3. Thankfully they only really hurt him at night, and hopefully he’ll get a break after these two.
Two – We also went to Explora! this week. For those not in ABQ, it’s a hands on science museum for kids. It’s mostly geared toward older kids, but they have a cool toddler area and Elijah overall had a good time just checking everything out. I’ve got some cute pictures and a full review to share sometime in the next few days.
Three – Flannel sheets. I actually got these a couple weeks ago from Target, but it’s been so cold a few days this week, they have been so nice to climb into and I love the subtle gray stripe print!
Four – Breathe, Mama, Breathe – I am only about halfway into this book, but I love it so far. I actually found it through the two bloggers I have shared the last two weeks, and it’s so great for moms to read. It’s broken into short chapters about ways to be more mindful and present throughout you day and with your kids.
Five – Removing terrible wallpaper and lunch date – we had some floral wallpaper from I think 1978 in our guest bathroom that we finally got off the walls, or at least most of it. Now just have to decide what to replace it with – paint, tile, shiplap, or beadboard. We also had a little post project lunch date while Elijah was actually enjoying school!
